About Rebus Illustration

Hey, I’m Tom, the illustrator behind Rebus.

My work pulls from my roots in street art and a love of old school print processes. I’m into bold, hand-drawn textures, a bit of grit, and visuals that tell a story, whether that’s through risograph prints, editorial pieces, murals or one-off commissions. Everything’s made from my little home studio here in the UK.

Rebus started out as my graffiti tag back in the early 2000s and eventually turned into a streetwear brand, Rebus Collective, which ended up stocked in 14 shops across the UK. Since then, I’ve studied illustration, painted murals at festivals, run youth art workshops, and worked on licensed merch for brands like Star Wars, Marvel, NASA and Zoo York.

These days, I’m all about making artwork that feels tactile, considered and a bit playful, whether it’s a print for your wall or something bigger for your brand. If it’s got texture and a bit of soul, I’m in.
